Son Bunyola Hotel & Villas

Mallorca, Spain

Sir Richard Branson's 810-acre Mallorcan estate — a Michelin Key boutique hotel and three private villas in a UNESCO World Heritage landscape

At a glance

Set in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Tramuntana Mountains on the dramatic northwest coast of Mallorca, Son Bunyola is one of Spain's most singular luxury retreats. The 810-acre estate — Sir Richard Branson's personal Mallorcan hideaway — encompasses working vineyards, centuries-old olive groves, terraced orchards, three miles of wild coastline and a private pebble beach, all framed by the soaring peaks of the Serra de Tramuntana.

At its heart sits a newly opened boutique hotel: a beautifully restored finca dating from the 1500s, awarded a Michelin Key by The Michelin Guide 2025 and named in TripAdvisor's top 1% worldwide. Alongside it, three standalone private villas offer exclusive-use flexibility for families seeking complete privacy. Intimate, unhurried and rooted in the natural world, Son Bunyola offers an experience quite unlike anywhere else in the Balearics.
