Six Senses Ninh Van Bay

Nha Trang, Vietnam

A dramatic, boat-access-only bay resort on the East Vietnam Sea, where rock formations, white sand, towering mountains and a troop of endangered langur monkeys make the backdrop as extraordinary as the villas themselves

At a glance

Six Senses Ninh Van Bay sits on a secluded bay accessible only by a ten-minute speedboat transfer from Nha Trang pier. Impressive granite rock formations, a white sand beach and a backdrop of mountains descending to the East Vietnam Sea create a setting of rare drama. The resort has a troop of rare endangered black-shanked langur monkeys living in the hills above, visible to guests on occasion, and is considered one of the most biodiverse resorts in Vietnam. Every villa has a private plunge pool, a handcrafted wooden bathtub, an outdoor shower and a dedicated Guest Experience Maker available around the clock.

For families, the resort offers a genuinely extraordinary setting alongside a thoughtful set of practicalities: the Vooc Village Kids Club, Vietnamese cooking classes, island hopping, water sports, snorkelling, wildlife encounters and a beach barbecue beneath a starry sky. It is worth being clear that the resort's dramatic terrain means several villa categories are not recommended for very young children. The Family Beachfront Villa, Hilltop 2 Bedroom Villa, Rock Retreat, Water Reserve and Hill Top Reserve villas are the right choices for families; active families with older children will find this one of the most memorable resorts in Southeast Asia.
