Necker Island

British Virgin Islands

Sir Richard Branson's private island paradise in the Caribbean, yours to explore on land and on water

At a glance

Necker Island is Sir Richard Branson's private 74-acre island in the North Sound of the British Virgin Islands, set in turquoise waters surrounded by coral reefs and fringed with white sandy beaches. Originally designed as the Branson family home, it has been welcoming guests ever since as one of the most extraordinary private island experiences in the world. The island sleeps up to 48 guests across the Great House and ten individual Bali Houses, with capacity extending to 56 adults plus 14 children in two bunkrooms for larger groups. Every stay is all-inclusive, covering all food and drinks, a wide range of watersports, return boat transfers and a dedicated team.

Necker can be booked exclusively for private use, making it ideal for multi-family groups or larger celebrations. At certain times of the year, individual rooms are also available to book, with a minimum of ten rooms required for small group stays from June to October. It is an island that genuinely works as well for families with young children as it does for adults, with a structured Kids' Club, two dedicated bunkrooms, an abundance of wildlife to encounter, and enough activity and space to fill a week with ease.
