Part of the acclaimed Teardrop Hotels collection, it sits on the relatively untouched Balapitiya Beach — a world away from the busier resort towns to the north and south.

The atmosphere is calm, unhurried and genuinely personal. All ten rooms look out over the pool, garden and Indian Ocean, designed in a clean, contemporary Sri Lankan style with natural materials and thoughtful detail. Please note there are no interconnecting rooms at Kumu Beach — families requiring separate sleeping spaces are best placed in an Oceanview Suite.

All rooms include air conditioning, fan, satellite TV, minibar, mosquito net, in-room tea and coffee, safe, Wi-Fi, bathrobes and toiletries. Baby cots (2) and rollaway single beds (4) available on request.
