Hotel Krallerhof

Leogang, Austria

A five-star Alpine hotel run by the Altenberger family since 1956, with ski-in ski-out access, a full-day Kids Club and a dedicated family wellness wing

At a glance

Hotel Krallerhof sits in a quiet, sunny spot in Leogang, right beside the Steinberg cable car and within Austria's Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn, one of the largest connected ski areas in the country. Run by the Altenberger family since 1956, the hotel combines genuine Alpine hospitality with an art collection built up over decades, including a private Hermann Nitsch collection displayed in the spa. It's a five-star property with real depth to it: two spa worlds, several restaurants, and a working relationship with the mountain that few hotels can match.

Families are given real space here rather than an afterthought. The Krallis Kids Club runs daily from 9am to 9pm for children from two and a half years old, included at no extra cost, and the hotel's own Refugium wellness area has a dedicated family indoor and outdoor pool and family sauna. The hotel's second spa, ATMOSPHERE, is reserved for guests aged 15 and over, so adults travelling with younger children have their own quiet retreat to look forward to once the children are settled.
